Details: Carlon James left the residence of his mother in Point Fortin at about 1:00 p.m. on Thursday 16 February, 2012, to go to the Point Fortin Library and he never returned. Checks with friends and relatives have not resulted in any information regarding the child’s whereabouts. His father revealed that Carlon loved school and had never been involved in any kind of trouble before.
Update: Thankfully, Carlon James was spotted around 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday 20 February, 2012, safe and sound and jumping up in a J’Ouvert band in the southern borough. His mother was contacted and it was discovered that all the time he was missing, he had been staying at a house not too far from where she lives. The police had actually visited that house in their search for Carlon but had been told that the child was not there.
