Here is another perspective that we needed to hear. Another picture emerges and the rush to judge and condemn may be halted for many of us who can now view these videos and hear another side. Some of us, myself included, had already convicted this suspect based solely on what we considered to be the damning evidence against him provided by the discovery of items owned by a murdered victim and the still missing child. In the light of the information provided in this interview, we must now reconsider. We might even find ourselves considering different answers to our questions about the treatment that is being meted out to the suspect while incarcerated in what is supposed to be a maximum security prison. If we find ourselves now unable to declare this suspect either guilty or innocent, that should be considered an improved position for those of us who earlier might have tried and convicted him in the court of public opinion before his trial in a court of law.
